A) Run For Hope 2024 will kick off as a physical run event on 17th November 2024, at Marina Barrage.

A) The venue for Run for Hope is located at Marina Barrage. The address is 8 Marina Gardens Dr, Singapore 018951. The nearest MRT station to the venue is Gardens by the Bay MRT station.


Q) Who can participate in Run For Hope?
A) Run for Hope welcomes everyone! It is a non-competitive leisure run, so anyone, regardless of age or fitness level, can join in the worthy cause and have fun.


Q) Are there any registration fees?
A) Yes, there is a registration fee to participate in Run for Hope. The registration fee helps cover the event costs and supports cancer research initiatives at NCCS.


Q) How can I register for Run For Hope?
A) Registration details and procedures can be found on our official event website. Simply follow the instructions provided to complete your registration.


Q) How do I know if my entry has been accepted?
A) Upon successful registration, you will receive an email confirmation. Please ensure to check your inbox for the confirmation email. In case you don't see it in your inbox, we kindly ask you to check your junk or spam folder as well. If you have not received the confirmation email within a reasonable timeframe, please reach out to our team at enquiry@runforhopesg.com for assistance. Q) In the event that I cannot participate in the run, can I get a refund?
A) Unfortunately, all registration fees for Run for Hope are strictly non-refundable. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. However, we have good news! If you cannot join the run, you can still collect your event goodie bag as a memento of your support. Race pack collection locations will be announced soon. Simply bring your proof of registration to collect your bag. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to stay connected with us for future events and initiatives. Q) Can I form a team or join as an individual?
A) Absolutely! You can form a team with your friends, family, or colleagues, or you can participate as an individual runner. Just make sure to indicate your preference during the registration process.


Q) Is there a minimum required to show support?
A) While there is no specific minimum requirement, we encourage participants to actively support cancer research. Your support, in any form, makes a significant impact in advancing our fight against cancer. Whether it's spreading awareness, participating in fundraising activities, or engaging with our community, every effort makes a difference. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by cancer.


Q) Where does the money raised from Run For Hope go?
A) The funds raised from Run for Hope are used to cover event costs such as logistics, venue, and participant resources. We strive to make the event a memorable and impactful experience for everyone involved. The net surplus of the revenue will go towards supporting cancer research at NCCS. Your participation not only makes a significant impact on the event's success but also plays a crucial role in advancing cancer treatment and improving outcomes for patients. Q: Can I still support the cause even if I'm not participating in the run?
Absolutely! Even if you can't join the run, you can still make a difference for cancer research at NCCS by visiting our event website and clicking the 'Support' tab.


Q) Are there any other activities or programs during Run For Hope?
A) Along with the run, Run For Hope often includes various activities and programs such as live performances, health and wellness booths, and inspiring speeches. Stay updated with our event announcements for more details.



Q) When is the race pack/goodie bag collection?
A) Race pack/goodie bag collection will be available on 2nd and 3rd November 2024 between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Race pack collection locations will be announced soon. Simply bring your proof of registration to collect your bag. We’ll notify registered runners via email nearer the collection date.


Q) I’m not available to collect the race pack/goodie bag. Is there a delivery option?
A) We understand that circumstances may prevent you from collecting the race pack/goodie bag in person. Unfortunately, we do not offer a delivery option for the race pack/goodie bag. However, we have good news! You can authorize a family member or friend to collect the race pack/goodie bag on your behalf. Simply provide them with a signed authorization letter, a copy of your identification, and their own identification when they come to collect. Please note that it is your responsibility to make arrangements for collection if you are unable to do so personally. Q) Can I exchange my Run For Hope event t-shirt if I selected the wrong size?
A) Size selection is made during registration. Unfortunately, no exchange can be made once registration is completed.


Q) Can I change my run distance after registration?
A) No, a change of run distance is not allowed after registration.


Q) What happens in the event of wet weather?
A) ) The safety and well-being of our participants is our top priority. In the event of wet weather, we will closely monitor the situation and make necessary adjustments to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Here's what you can expect:


  • Event Updates: We will provide regular updates through our official communication channels, including email and social media platforms, regarding any changes or updates related to the event schedule due to wet weather conditions.
  • Rain or Shine: Run For Hope will generally proceed rain or shine unless there are severe weather conditions that pose a risk to participants' safety. In such cases, we may need to make adjustments to the event format, route, or timing for the well-being of all participants.
  • Event Modifications: Our dedicated event management team will assess the situation and implement appropriate modifications to ensure a safe running environment. This may include changes to the course, start time delays, or other necessary adjustments.
  • Stay Prepared: We recommend participants come prepared for wet weather conditions by bringing appropriate rain gear and extra clothing. It's also advisable to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly for your comfort.
  • Safety Measures: During the event, we will have medical support teams and event marshals stationed along the route to monitor the participants' safety. Please follow their instructions and take the necessary precautions while running.
